One Martial Arts strives to be more than just a martial arts school. Indeed, the facility teaches young children discipline, and adults techniques for fending off attackers and pushy car salesmen. But it also sustains a family-oriented community, and an environment in which students of any age can reach their fullest potential. That's certainly the vision of owner and head instructor, Brannon Beliso, who has more than 46 years of martial arts experience. At One Martial Arts, Brannon has surrounded himself with an equally talented group of instructors. Together, they shape students during kids' classes, adult classes, and beginner-friendly kickboxing sessions.
The desire to care for our children is one of the most basic human motivations. A safe, fun environment where they can learn and establish positive self-esteem will help prepare them for the challenges that lie ahead of them as they begin school. As parents you know that Little People don’t become Big People automatically; they get there one step at a time.

Tone deaf? Nah. Pitchy? Never. At K-Net Karaoke, everyone’s a super star, so grab your friend , the mic, and get the party started. The Lowdown: Gather nine of your closest friends (or those you don’t want to judge you the next day) and head to K-Net Karaoke for a night of singing, laughter, and all-around good times. Their newly remodeled venue includes private rooms so you can belt out the latest hits until your heart’s content. Each room is outfitted with large screens, a clear sound system, and plush seating. You can laugh at your friends from the comfort of a leather couch, or take a chance at fame and grab the mic. Throughout each song, you and your friends will be able to see both the lyrics and the actual music video, which means you can pretend to be distracted by Gaga’s wild moves instead of avoiding that high note in “Poker Face.” Still not sure you want to channel your inner Idol? Just walking into K-Net puts you in the karaoke mood. Their funky decor, color lighting, and modern-techy vibe help lower your inhibitions and bring out the Journey in everyone. But if power ballads aren’t your style, sing along to one of their many Korean, Chinese, or Taiwanese pop music selections. It’s a night of pure fun and hilarity at SF’s K-Net. The Address: 870 Taraval St, San Francisco, CA 94116 (415) 731-3223
