The Men’s Event is a black-tie fundraiser for Fenway Health that brings together a community of gay, transgender and bisexual men and their friends and supporters for a night of dinner and dancing. Tickets, silent auction, and sponsorship all benefit the life-changing programs at Fenway Health.
HackMIT is MIT’s headline hackathon, with over 1000 undergraduate attendees from around the globe. Over a 24-hour period from September 17th to 18th, hackers collaborate and experiment on software and hardware projects. This is the weekend to meet other enthusiastic hackers, push your boundaries, and realize the projects of your dreams!
The Taste of Cambridge transforms University Park Common and Sidney Street into a Lush Haven for Gastronomical Exploration and Gustatory Indulgences of the highest order! Each year foodies descend upon the Taste of Cambridge to sample the delicious, creative, healthy and award-winning cuisine found in every square inch that comprises our fine and notable food-loving City! Our event is one of the great food sampling experiences in the region featuring 100+ local restaurants and local specialty butcher, cheese, honey, wine, beer, specialty drinks and coffee purveyors. Feel good for doing a great amount of good by buying a ticket to this benefit event and enjoy eat great foods in our gorgeous landscaped courtyard, featuring café seating, beer and wine gardens, celebrity DJ’s, live bands, and an opportunity to meet the non-profits who benefit directly from this exciting event. Each “Adult” ticket to the Taste of Cambridge includes four glasses of beer or wine from our beer gardens featuring Amstel, Harpoon, John Harvard’s Brew House, and a variety of other specially chosen beers and wines. The Taste of Cambridge (TOC), founded by the Cambridge License Advisory Board (CLAB), is produced by a dedicated CLAB volunteers. CLAB works year-round to prevent underage drinking and to educate and support liquor license holders in their efforts to prohibit sales to minors. The TOC, in addition to being an extraordinary gastronomic experience is also a charitable event! Our participating restaurants, sponsors, and volunteers present the best “Taste of” event to provide financial support to our beneficiaries!
Music | Art | Technology Together Boston is a week-long, city-wide convergence of music, art and technology. With daytime events celebrating emerging ideas, the latest gear and artistic innovation, the creative community then gives back at nighttime events that embrace aspects of all three fields. Featuring exhibits, Q&A with visiting artists and musicians plus a film component, Together contains a multitude of inclusive activities, putting the city and New England at the center of a new festival experience. The MIT Glass Lab is located in the basement below the Infinite Corridor, in room 4-003. Extracurricular classes are offered to the MIT community. The lab also hosts several sales throughout the year, as well as a lectureship and residency.
The School of Classical Ballet was founded in 1985 by Anna Myer and Patricia Adelmann. For 25 years the school has provided students with classical ballet training and helped to develop student appreciation for dance as an art form. In 2009, under the direction of Ariella Amshalem and Kirsta Sendziak additional dance forms were incorporated into The School of Classical Ballet curricula. In 2011, Kirsta Sendziak continues to provide students the quality of instruction upon which the school was founded.

The Preschool is part of the early childhood education program at Boston University. It provides a half-day program for children between the ages of 2 years 9 months and 5 years old. An extended day program is also offered until 2pm. Children may attend either 3 or 5 mornings each week. The school year runs from early September to mid-June. Affiliation with Boston University is not a requirement for enrollment. What Is CBA? The Cambridge Basketball Academy offers high-end basketball instruction and English language training combined with a culturally immersive and comprehensive tour of Boston area Educational Institutions and historical sites. Several Camp sessions are typically offered each summer as well as during holiday school breaks. Taking advantage of our prime location within the “educational and research capital of the world,” international campers are paired with local basketball players their own age to create a camp experience with no equal! Who Can Attend? CBA is offered to young men of all skill levels from the ages of 12-18. Family members are welcome accompany student to Boston. CBA will arrange flight, hotel arrangements (same as students) and suggest activities. 2015 Summer Camp Dates Session A: June 29-July 10 Session B: July 13-July 24 Session C: August 3 – August 14 Custom sessions are available upon request.

The College offers both undergraduate and graduate degree programs to prepare students for both research and clinical careers in health care and the rehabilitation sciences.HistoryIn 1881, Dr. Dudley Allen Sargent founded the Sargent School of Physical Training in Cambridge, Massachusetts. During the decades that followed the establishment of the School, Dr. Sargent built a reputation as an innovator in physical conditioning and health promotion. At the Sargent School, students learned training techniques to strengthen and improve the physical capabilities of all people, including both disabled and healthy individuals. This emphasis on comprehensive health care remains a focus of the College today. Sargent College became part of Boston University in 1929, five years after Dr. Sargent's death.In the fall of 1990, BU Sargent College moved to an extensively renovated facility at 635 Commonwealth Avenue.
