We use only quality, sustainable couverture from the top local and international producers. Our producers are dedicated to the long term success of the farmers and co-ops where the beans are purchased, assisting with improvements in the environment, farming techniques, and community education. The cacao beans are Rainforest Alliance and Fair Trade certified. We are proud to use Clover Stornetta organic dairy sourced from family farms along the north coast of California. The cows are not treated with antibiotics or the growth hormone rBST and the farms are American Humane Certified. Our butter comes from Sierra Navada Cheese Company. We started Hampton Creek because we deeply believe that eating well should be easy. We believe that the good thing, that is for our bodies and the planet, should be affordable and accessible. The vision of this restaurant, like its counterpart in Palo Alto, is to offer a seasonal, regional, ecologically sustainable, unique and delectable menu with an extensive wine and cocktail list, a big bar menu and friendly service. Amber through Amber Dhara has evolved with time and the changing needs of its customers and patrons. Though steeped in its ancient traditions, it stands tall in its modern day avatar. Through its dishes and drinks, the place and concept reflect the vivacity of the diverse Indian culture in its contemporary settings. The food menu has been crafted after extensive research by Vijay Bist, a connoisseur of Indian food and his team, particularly Head Chef Vittal Shetty and Chef Arindam Bahel. The chefs, in expressing their creations, integrate the typical Hindustani (Indian) style with the modern palate. They passionately amalgamate the classic and contemporary: featuring California fresh – the local produce, in their preparations with the age-old Indian spices and herbs giving it a nouvelle twist.
