We are in the business of creating memories. We set the table, pour the drinks and keep the lights on for you until those fresh first hours of the morning. We wait for you, we wait on you. We are here when you want us. We are here when you need us. We’ll pick you up, put you under, and occasionally throw your ass out when you’ve had a little much. We’re here because we want you around.
Family-owned Tee Pee Mexican Food has been serving the Valley since 1958 – the bar/restaurant is located in the Arcadia neighborhood of Phoenix. The Tee Pee was started by Tony and Anna Duran. Tony bar-tended while Anna did the cooking. During the late 1970’s their daughter Kathy and son-in-law Zip started to run the family business. Now they are the owners and are teaching their children, Jefe and Julianna, to run the business. You can always find a family member at the Tee Pee – your server is probably a niece or nephew. You will always be greeted at the door by a friendly face. Our Manager, Shannon, started out bar backing in the late 1980’s and Tony Duran III is also following in the footsteps of the family tradition. We are all family at the Tee Pee! The Tee Pee is nothing fancy. Like others in Phoenix it has often been referred to as a mom & pop restaurant. We serve our meals with paper napkins while you relax in one of our original booths. Some of our customers have been eating here for four generations and we wouldn’t have it any other way! While you are waiting for your table you can browse the walls of fame. We have had many famous visitors come to our restaurant. President Bush and Willard Scott from the Today Show have been our guests, not to mention a great number of famous sports athletes and movie stars. Be it a famed celebrity or a local community hero, you never know who you might be sitting next to! We serve authentic Mexican food. The recipes have been in the family for years. We serve all your traditional favorites such as beef and green corn tamales, albondigas soup, and the George W. Bush’s favorite: cheese enchiladas. We are famous for our chili rellenos which are like an egg soufflé. All of our food is homemade and prepared fresh daily. See our Menus page for a full list of our specialties. We also offer delicious party trays and for your larger events we can provide full service catering.

In the Fall of 2010 Chef Justin & Michelle Beckett with their long time friends Scott & Katie Stephens, embarked on a collective vision to create an upscale casual restaurant with all the trappings of simple comfort and relaxed elegance. Beckett’s Table is a new class of American eatery with chef driven food, an awarded wine list, and exemplary service. Chef Justin Beckett pairs sophisticated comfort food and international wines with genuine hospitality in a relaxed urban, ambiance at an exceptional value. With an emerging central Phoenix location situated between The Biltmore and Arcadia corridor, our focus is to loyally support our local farmers and culinary community. Beckett’s Table is both a casual neighborhood haunt where you might eat several times a week but also a gastronomic destination for an evening out. Our unassuming home seats 125 guests inside; included are 13 seats at our bricked-lined bar and 18 seats at our signature black walnut community table. The space is industrial chic consisting of original bow-stringed trusses, distressed concrete floors, exposed block walls, subway tile, repurposed brick, and leather-capped stools and cushioned chairs. When the weather is perfect (nearly 8 months a year); our two patios are complete with misters, ceiling fans, heaters, and a fireplace that can accommodate another 70 guests. ☎ 602-954-1700
