Originally called One Pennsylvania Plaza when the building was first announced in 2001, the Comcast Center went through two redesigns before construction began in 2005. Dudley and operated by the United Hotels Company of America. The Bellevue-Stratford Hotel agreed to house the team that day. The team moved their permanent accommodations to the Warwick Hotel.

The Divine Lorraine Hotel, also known as the Lorraine Apartments, stands at the corner of Broad Street and Fairmount Avenue in North Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Designed by architect Willis G. Hale and built between 1892 and 1894, the building originally functioned as apartments, housing some of Philadelphia's wealthy residents. Lorraine Apartments was one of the most luxurious and best preserved late 19th-century apartment houses in Philadelphia. In 1900 the building became the Lorraine Hotel when the Metropolitan Hotel Company purchased the apartments. Later it would become the first hotel in Philadelphia to be racially integrated under Father Divine.The hotel was abandoned and deteriorated, with graffiti all over the walls, broken windows, and crumbling stone. On September 16, 2015, a massive renovation project was begun, one of the City of Philadelphia's massive reconstruction projects between 2015-2035.Early historyBoth the location of the building and the architecture itself reflect the changes that were occurring rapidly in the city of Philadelphia and in the country at the time. North Philadelphia of the 1880s attracted many of the city's nouveau-riche, those individuals who became wealthy as a result of the Industrial Revolution. The Lorraine was a place of luxurious living, providing apartments with new amenities such as electricity. In addition, the building boasted its own staff, eliminating the need for residents to have private servants. There was also a central kitchen from which meals were delivered to residents.

Designed by internationally renowned landscape architecture firm OLIN, Lenfest Plaza offers an inviting civic space for visitors to Philadelphia, city residents, students, museum goers and art lovers. Located between PAFA's Historic Landmark and Samuel M.V. Hamilton buildings, the plaza was constructed in 2011 and is open year-round. It features a three-part serpentine bench, mosaic pavers, plantings, and rotating works of emerging and established artists in an urban setting. Lenfest Plaza is located directly across from the entrance of the Pennsylvania Convention Center. More than a destination and gathering place, the plaza also connects convention-goers and the public on North Broad Street with the museums on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway: the Barnes Foundation, the Academy of Natural Sciences, The Franklin Institute, the Rodin Museum, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Snellenburg's Clothing Factory is a historic factory complex located in the Spring Garden neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was built by the N. Snellenburg & Company and consists of two parts: a large, ornate building built in 1903, and a long, narrow building built in 1905. They are connected by a bridge at the fourth, fifth, and sixth floors. The front building is seven stories, constructed of limestone and brick with terra cotta ornament, and features a central tower.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

The Theatre of Living Arts is a concert venue located on South Street in Philadelphia, PA. The venue, which opened in 1988, dates back to the late 1900s as a nickelodeon. Over the years, the venue has seen many incarnations ranging from concert hall to movie theatre to theatre. Known for its acoustics, it was voted as one of the best concert venues in America by Complex.HistoryThe theatre opened in 1908 as the "Crystal Palace", a nickelodeon seating nearly 700. In 1927, the venue became a concert hall. In 1941, the venue was taken over by the Warner Bros. Circuit Management Corporation and converted into a movie theatre. Along with the changes came a new name, the "New Palace Theatre". The theatre’s popularity declined in the 50s. By 1959, the theatre saw another reincarnation, this time as a repertory theatre. The theatre was during the direction of stage veteran Anne Ramsey and her husband Logan Ramsey. This is also when the name, "Theatre of the Living Arts" came into being.In 1964, Andre Gregory took over from the Ramseys as artistic director. The theatre proved to be a success, presenting 10 productions per season, all to high praise. Some troupe members included: Danny DeVito, Judd Hirsch, Sally Kirkland, Ron Leibman and Morgan Freeman. In 1967, a dispute between Gregory and the board of directors saw the director leaving the theatre on February 17, 1967. At this time, the theatre was taken over by a new firm and christened as the "Bandbox Living Arts", a beatnik house. The theatre saw a decline in popularity and closed in 1969 due to financial issues.
