The Mountain Sports Guide is a calendar of running, biking, kayaking and multisport events in Western North Carolina. We are also the publishers of the ever popular Guide to Craft Breweries and Pubs in WNC(www.facebook.com/wncbeerguide) . Like both pages to stay up-to date on outdoor sports and beer....two of the best things in life!
Obstacle course races require great amounts of strength, stamina, and skill work. Join our SGX certified coaches for programming that will prepare your mind and body for the obstacles that lie ahead! Classes will take place at Summit CrossFit, but location for Saturdays will be subject to change. Classes are included for Summit CrossFit members, and non-members may “drop in” or purchase the series or a punch card. Please call Summit CrossFit or drop by a class for details or questions. There are several obstacle course races coming to the area! We encourage anyone and everyone to “Spartan Up” and show up to try them out! Races can be anywhere from a 5k to a 15 miler and beyond, and we’re ready to prepare you however we can. We encourage you to register under the “SCF Spartans” team name when possible!
We are open for selected hours. These hours vary depending on class schedule each day. You can find our complete class schedule, along with class rates, and descriptions of the various classes we offer, online at our site www.soundbarreash.com
Summit CrossFit Kids & Teens Program brings a unique experience to kids of every age and fitness level. Our focus is to help kids to believe in themselves and their capabilities, identify their strengths & tackle their weaknesses, approach every task and individual with a positive attitude, and accomplish more than they ever thought possible. We build physical and mental health through strength, agility, speed, endurance, coordination, power, and FUN! Every class is always different, but every one will include a group warm up and cool down. Kids from 4-11 are encouraged to attend the youth class times, and kids 12 and up are encouraged to attend the teen classes.
