Our practice is based on the belief that our patients' needs are of the utmost importance. Our entire team is committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and family referrals. Established in 2010 This practice was built by Crest and donated to the Robert R. McCormick Boys and Girls club in the early 80's. The practice, previously known as the Crest Smile Shoppe, was run by Northwestern, and most recently, the University of Illinois Dental School. It served the Uptown Community and the under served population and has been remodeled and updated several times since then. Due to economic conditions, the Crest Smile Shoppe was closed in 2009. In July 2010, along with the Pederson McCormick Boys and Girls Club Board of Directors, Dr. Johnny I Kuttab, a board certified pediatric dentist from Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago (Children's Memorial Hospital), reopened the practice as BRIGHTSMILES PEDIATRIC DENTISTRY. The association between a privately run practice and a social institution has extreme advantages to our patients and the community. We hope that this model can be replicated in the future.
