The Denver Art Museum is one of the largest art museums between Chicago and the West Coast, with a collection of more than 70,000 works of art divided between 10 permanent collections including African, American Indian, Asian, European and American, modern and contemporary, pre-Columbian, photography, Spanish Colonial, textile and western American art. Our holdings reflect our city and region—and provide invaluable ways for the community to learn about cultures from around the world.
Located just four blocks from the Denver Art Museum, Walker Fine Art is a captivating, loft-style gallery featuring original contemporary art. Our national and regional artists display exceptional levels of sophistication, quality, and execution through multiple mediums. Themed exhibitions, featuring a 2D and 3D artist, follow a six week rotating schedule and represent the leading edge in Abstraction, Experimental Photography, and Realism. A group exhibit of new work by our anchor artists is always on display on the back half of the 3800 square foot gallery. We invite you to an unparalleled experience of discovery through our commitment to our clients, our artists and the community.
The vision of Gallery 1261 is one of enhanced freedom in the experience of art for both artists and appreciators of art, meaning it is driven not by commercial tastes or market standards, but rather by pure expression and artistic talent.

910Arts is an innovative green building community of artist studios complete with a gallery, event space, bar, coffeehouse and nonprofit centered around a beautiful courtyard. It is a civic gathering place for social and environmental change designed to advance all art forms in the heart of Denver's Art District on Santa Fe. Stop by to see. hear. smell. taste. feel. be ART.
The Art Gallery at the Denver Performing Arts Complex (DPAC) comprises 2,300 square feet in the newly opened space adjacent to Backstage Coffee. As the first (and currently - only) art gallery on the 14th Street corridor - at the DPAC, The Art Gallery seeks to not only show amazing art works by local artists, but to also help promote the street as a growing - and thriving - theater and arts district for the City of Denver.
SPARK Gallery presents diverse and dynamic art exhibits in its galleries, located in the Art District on Santa Fe. Started in 1978, SPARK is the oldest cooperative gallery in Denver. Members of Spark Gallery cooperative exhibit locally in juried exhibitions such as The Cherry Creek Arts Festival, North American Sculpture Exhibition and All Colorado Art Exhibit, as well as nationally and internationally. Members work in sculpture, drawing, painting, collage, found objects, embroidery, assemblage, encaustic, installation, ceramics and photography. Many of our members are faculty at Colorado universities, community colleges, and art schools.
Throw a party where it's polite to stare! Our mission is to offer an event venue in a gallery setting, that encourages gatherings celebrating Denver's culture and artistic expression in any form. At the core of the gallery is a mission to ignite a consistently developing dialogue about the art we represent, by breaking down the typical white-walled gallery and allowing these ideas to breathe. Not only does the event venue offer a refreshing alternative to events hosted in stuffy conference rooms, or spaces void of stimulus or conversation starters, but will also provide an outlet for our community to tap into their own creativity and provide a new way of understanding the role of art in our lives. Ultimately, we would like to see Von Tornow Gallery flourish into a fully utilized, versatile event space, that represents young, local artists. The third component of the gallery will eventually be to offer programs centered around the arts and personal expression, including art classes (that corresponds with the art shown), educational seminars, weekly yoga and meditation classes, and whatever else blossoms from this endeavor. This is a collaborative community effort, so please feel free to contribute to our vision by visiting the gallery to share your ideas!

The Golden Triangle Museum District (GTMD) is home to eight of the city’s museums, including the Byers-Evans House, History Colorado Center , Denver Art Museum (DAM), Denver Firefighters Museum, Kirkland Museum of Fine & Decorative Art, the Molly Brown House, Grant Humphries Mansion and the Clyfford Still Museum. The newly designated National Landmark Civic Center Park sits in this neighborhood between the much visited State Capital Building and the Denver Mint. Also within the District are the Denver Public Library, Rocky Mountain PBS, Curious Theatre Company, Denver Musicians Association, Colorado Ballet, Denver Philharmonic Orchestra and the Art Institute of Colorado. VERTIGO exhibits a range of artists from local to national, emerging to established, and student to mentor. The work seen at VERTIGO can be labeled as abstract, modern, or conceptual, though there are no limitations. The space was built to accommodate 2D, 3D, and installation works, and each show may create a different challenge than the last, both perceptually and structurally. The building that is now VERTIGO was originally built in 1888, and the complete process of design and renovation took two years to complete. The design is partly inspired by visits to the older, smaller spaces of Amsterdam and London. Hours: by appointment VERTIGO Art Space has been on hiatus. Events will continue to happen at the space, so please continue to check our web site and Facebook page for updates.
