While in Law School, he received the Moot Court Award for Best Oral Argument and the CALI Award for Excellence in Insurance Law. He was a member of the USF Trial Team in the American Association for Justice Trial Advocacy Competition, twice a quarter-finalist in the Advocate of the Year Competition, and a participant in the USF Intensive Advocacy Program. Even as a licensed attorney, Allister continues to train with attorneys and judges from around the world. He believes that the only way to get better is to keep doing it. In 2014, he successfully completed the National Institute of Trial Advocacy’s (NITA) Deposition Skills and Trial Skills Programs. Allister is expected to receive the NITA Advocate Designation in 2015, and is on course to receive the NITA Master Advocate Designation in 2016.
