Like taking a walk back to the 1940's, Ike's maintains a cozy, warm atmosphere with dim-lighting, swinging music, and hearty entrees. Founded in 2002, in memory of the owner's father, Ike's offers a wide variety of options suitable for any appetite. Voted "The Best Burger" by CityPages several years running, the Ike's burger is the crown jewel of burgers in the Twin Cities. Breakfast is served daily on weekdays from 7:00AM to 10:00AM, with a menu sporting classic egg dishes and freshly squeezed fruit juices. From 11:00AM to 2:00PM, lunch is served. The front is turned into a carvery station, where sandwiches of roast beef and turkey are sliced right before your eyes. At 4:00PM dinner begins, with a menu offering a wide array of steaks, fish, and small plates. On Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00AM to 2:00AM our world-famous, family-style brunch is served, with a never-ending platter of sausage, bacon, pancakes, and hash-browns, with your choice of eggs any way you would like them. A Minneapolis tradition was born on October 2, 1947, when the Oak Grill opened for business. Architect Bob Hansen used characteristics from the Jacobean period in the design of the rooms. The ornate fireplace, originally from Salisbury, England, was over 300 years old when it was transported in sections and reassembled in the Oak Grill. With its solid oak columns and vast frame, it soon became the room’s focal point. Its distinctive appearance, along with dark paneling, red chairs and dim lighting, help give the Oak Grill its cozy ambiance. Best Known For: Our famous Chicken Pot Pie, based on Mrs. Hering’s original recipe from 1890 updated with the freshest ingredients and hand-finished crust.

The Misfit Coffee trailer was constructed to showcase the fine detail and genuine craftsmanship that goes behind brewing our coffee. Striving to utilize only the finest brewing methods in the industry, we start with a single serving of freshly roasted coffee beans, ground onsite. For us it’s about more than coffee, so we focus on creating a pure sensory experience for each customer, transforming all of our passion and previous learnings into a beverage that can be enjoyed in an open air, community-oriented atmosphere. Unlike anything found in a brick and mortar cafe, the concept of our business relies on an unusual experience – with no laptops or headphones to create barriers to live conversations, and with no walls to shelter us from the beauty of the outdoors. Rather, we create a curbside experience with a 98 square foot trailer, focusing on bringing the finest quality of coffee and espresso beverages to our supporters, or as we call them, “MISFITS.”
