Our artists represent a broad range of contemporary and traditional styles, media, and interests. In addition to its commercial activities, the Arts Factory provides an artistic lifeline and facility for many educational functions and community group meetings, including a weekly Life Drawing class, monthly board meetings of the 18b Las Vegas Arts District Neighborhood Association, the Las Vegas Sculpture Park, UNLV, and local high school student art exhibitions, fund raiser events for notable local and national charities, and the Smithsonian Institute lecture series. The Arts Factory has also provided a unique cultural venue for over 300 musical concerts, poetry readings, and live theatrical performances. The 18b Arts District participates in Gallery Openings and an Art Walk festival on the first Friday of every month – from 6:00pm – 10:00pm. The night before each “First Friday” all our studios are open to give a sneak preview of new artwork – it’s an ideal opportunity to meet our artists without a crowd. “Preview Thursday” has become the unofficial “collector’s night” and runs from 6:00pm – 9:00pm.

Home school and un-school groups can come together to learn though life experience of sorting and creating. Children and adults alike can even enjoy a birthday party where they and their guests create their very own piece of reclaimed art! ~Bio of Directors~ Jen Harney-Director of RECLAIMED A mother of three, a wife, long time lover of art and builder of bridges, Jen Harney has been a resident of Las Vegas for nearly fifteen years. She is pleased to bring together a space where art meets community under one roof. Bridging community though art can foster the creation of endless possbility through the use of recycled and reclaimed materials. Jen was motivated to start this endeavor after going on a family road trip where they stumbled across MECCA. This material exchange community center for artists inspired her to create this same innovative idea and bring it to Vegas. As a community organizer she sees a need to put the right pieces together to fill that void in the arts district and bring the artists together with the resources and support necessary for a flourishing arts community. By putting a space together with Quency Hilton, a fellow visionary and arts advocate, where artist can get inexpensive supplies, collaborate for inspiration, and build community, she is very excited to see what the future holds.. "Maybe the next Banksy or Picasso is right here in Las Vegas, but they have not had the opportunity to recognize their potential because they do not have access to supplies or a space to create. This is what I see with RECLAIMED, a place to inspire and foster art, a place where the possibilities are endless." Quency Hilton-Director of RECLAIMED Quency, Q, Quenc! A mom and creative goal driven Earth citizen ready to help spread harmony to all. Taking care of the planet and creating ways for people to become more connected is a huge priority of Quencys'. She knows a change for the Earth needs to happen and happen now. As ideas were pouring in for ways to create this vision of change, she came across an amazing woman named Jen Harney. Their ideas and inspirations led them to unite together to create RECLAIMED. Recycling, reusing, and recreating will help imaginations come together and help clear the waste! Realizing that this idea could bring the community together in so many positive ways was part of the inspiration that lead Quency to make RECLAIMED into a reality for Las Vegas. A place where everyone can afford art supplies. A place where all walks of life can come to create, and save the planet at the same time! This is RECLAIMED! A huge inspiration for RECLAIMED is in the dedication to her mother Cindy Hilton. Cindy passed away in 2010. Quency's mother was a special needs teacher who taught sign language and communication skills to children from birth to 3 with down syndrome, autism, hard of hearing and/or deaf and other special needs disabilities. Cindy loved to shop for great bargains and at thrift stores. She enjoyed teaching sign language, art, her children Quency and Dylan, and her granddaughter Marley! After the passing of her mother, Quency learned that life is precious and to never give up on a goal. She knows to live healthy, be creative, to always help others, be at peace, help clean up the earth, and love unconditionally to all the citizens of Earth. RECLAIMED is dedicated to Cindy Hilton, a loving mother, sister, daughter, friend and teacher. 12/19/1967-12/7/2010
