Building upon the accomplishments of the former national Gray Panthers, the NCGPN has made economic inequality a major theme of our social justice action. We have been deeply involved with the Jobs-for-all-Caucus since the original Humphrey-Hawkins measure was enacted. We work for Social Security reform and protecting Medicare from those who would undermine these critical programs. We have also worked for economic security and single payer health care for all; civil rights, marriage equality, the ERA; peace; reallocating the federal budget from the pentagon to domestic priorities; stopping the TPP and other fast track trade horrors; and for election integrity in the counting of our votes and in the funding of campaigns.

We are ProLife youth of Metro Detroit. We believe in the dignity and value of EVERY human life, from the moment of conception until the moment of natural death. We come from different backgrounds and communities with so many different passions and interests yet our goals are also the same. We desire to help our peers understand their own inestimable value and cherish ALL life. Together we are daring to live our beliefs as best as we know how. We hold an annual conference to share the Gospel of Life with other youth, 8th grade thru college, who wish to better understand what John Paul II calls the “Culture of Life.” We hope they are inspired to go forth with what they learn and be a part of changing the culture. Our conference builds networks, equips us with knowledge and courage to make a difference and to foster a change in the attitude of society toward life in all of its beautiful stages. We are ProLifeYouth. Come join us. If you or your school or youth group wants more information on how to get involved in planning this year’s event we would welcome your support.
