The after school and summer camp curriculum that we developed stems from our unique perspective of competing in sports at a high level. We understand the importance of sports and physical activity. With students spending most of their day in the classroom or playing video games, there seems to be less and less time for physical exercise. Our belief is that when children are active in sports, they benefit by learning how to resolve conflicts, work as a team, and set and reach goals.

Engineers Without Borders USA (EWB-USA) is a non-profit international development organization whose mission is to partner with developing communities to implement sustainable engineering projects in order to improve qualities of living across the globe. The University of South Florida chapter (EWB-USA USF) is comprised of professionals and students alike who strive to be internationally responsible and active in carrying out the mission of the EWB-USA. The student members of Engineers without Borders at USF envision a world where all people have access to adequate sanitation, safe drinking water, and the resources to meet other self-identified engineering and economic development needs.
