ABOUT: Located on Balboa & 36th Ave. in San Francisco, Creative IQ Art Studio offers art classes, camps and parties for all ages and all experience levels, as well as art supplies and a fine art gallery that features local talent! Owner, Suzie Ferras, was born and raised in San Francisco's Richmond District and is very excited to be opening her small mom & pop art shop in the neighborhood and community in which she grew up! In a continued effort to be an asset to the community, Creative IQ offers a variety of discounts and a School/Charity Give-Back Program to help support our local families, schools and charities. Creative IQ Art Studio will be hosting a fine art gallery space to exhibit and sell the amazing work of local Bay Area artists. Look for ongoing group shows, in collaboration with Local 365 & Oakfunktions Presents! Creative IQ Art Studio offers fine art classes, camps & parties for kids, teens & adults. With an emphasis on drawing and oil painting, our programs are designed to develop drawing skills, painting technique and artistic creativity. Creative IQ also provides students the opportunity to explore a variety of mediums, developing their ability to express themselves and their creative ideas. Jump right into an exploration of your creativity and bring out your inner artist! Have fun while learning fundamentals of drawing, painting and color theory. With individualized instruction and hands-on experience, learn how to draw what you see and draw from your imagination. Incorporating elements of play that enhance creativity, teach social skills and bolster creative problem solving, it is our on-going goal to provide high quality art education programs to kids, teens and adults in our community. Creative IQ programs promote creative arts literacy, community involvement in the arts, cultural enrichment and creative self expression. With the help and instruction of local creative professionals, students get first hand experience making and displaying their own original oil paintings, illustrations and arts & crafts projects in an inter-arts environment. Our classes, camps, parties and student art shows give local artists of all ages access to high quality art education, local creative professionals, live music and local art, enabling students to engage in and contribute to the flourishing culture of the San Francisco Bay Area.
