Twitter: @UnitedProvision Instagram: UnitedProvisions NEW Kitchen Hours - Starting June 1st: Monday thru Friday Lunch 11am - 2:30pm Dinner 4:30pm - 9pm Saturday & Sunday - 11am - 9pm Grocery From France to India to right here in St. Louis—we have it all at United Provisions. Taking a cue from our sister store Global Foods Market, we’ve stocked our shelves with foods from countries far and wide. Take a culinary trip around the world without leaving the St. Louis area. Prepared Foods We take our food seriously. That’s why we brought in renowned chef Ben Poremba to take the lead in preparing the best bites for you. Ben is no novice to the culinary scene having already started wildly successful restaurants such as Elaia & Olio as well as being a semifinalist for a James Beard Award “Best Chef Midwest” in 2014. Now he brings his immense talent to United Provisions to craft some of the finest foods from fresh, local ingredients. We invite you to stop by and chow down—and maybe pick up some groceries afterwards. Coffee Our mission to use local products doesn’t stop with our food. The selections of coffees we have for you come from local artisan roaster Northwest Coffee. Already a St. Louis favorite, Northwest Coffee will bring their passion for coffee and roasting to United Provisions. They want to ensure that they “support the best farmers of the world in a sustainable manner”, a goal United Provisions is happy to partake in. So stop by, relax, and smell the freshly ground coffee beans. We also have our own Nespresso machine!

Plowsharing Crafts has provided meaningful income to skilled artisans around the world by marketing their products in the St. Louis area since 1985. We are a ministry of the St. Louis Mennonite Fellowship, one of two Mennonite churches located in the St. Louis area. Plowsharing Crafts is a member of the Fair Trade Federation, and a 501c3 not-for-profit organization. We are largely staffed by volunteers from the community, and we always welcome new friends to join our team. Plowsharing Crafts is in partnership with Ten Thousand Villages, the oldest and largest Fair Trade organization in North America. A large percentage of our inventory comes from Ten Thousand Villages which works with over 60,000 artisans in 30 different countries and has a network of over 100 stores in the US. We also work with approximately 30 other Fair Trade vendors, including SERRV, Global Crafts, UPAVIM, Mountcastle International, Venus Imports, and Equal Exchange, with products from an additional 15 countries. Each of our vendors is committed to Fair Trade and conforms to the principles as laid out on our Fair Trade page. Many of the products are made with sustainable and recycled materials. Our food products are grown all over the world by small farmers using sustainable methods. Two of our product lines support projects in the United States: Women’s Bean Project, Denver, CO and Lucinda Pins for Lydia’s House, St. Louis, MO.
