Regional Training site - Medical (RTS-MED) has all the necessary equipment, personnel, and facilities to support medical training, from selected individual training subjects through mutli-echelon, multi-functional, collective training and exercises. Classrooms, a clinical skills lab, and the DEPMEDS/Theater equivalent equipment core display are available for training. RTS-MED capabilities include: individual and collective training, medical maintenance support and training, logistics support, training support, and exercise support. Mobile Training Teams (MTT) provide training for units at their home station upon request.
The medical logistics specialist performs or supervises requisitioning, receipt, inventory management, storage, preservation, issue, salvage, destruction stock control, quality control, property management, repair parts management, inspection, packing and shipping, care, segregation and accounting of medical supplies and equipment.
