Since 1929, the Center has responded to the changing environment and the needs of the community. Today, our largest programs are our year round youth programs, which include our afterschool program and Cowemoki Summer Enrichment Program. The Center also offers a wide range of programs serving youth, adults, and seniors. These include the Cambridge Winter Farmers Market, our Senior Thanksgiving Luncheon, The Hip Hop Transformation Program, Riverside Art Gallery, and The Coast Kitchen community meals program. Hundreds of individuals use our facilities throughout the year whether they use our services, rent our space for events, or are enrolled in our programs. Many of the staff and children in our programs come from families that have been involved with the Center for four or even five generations, enriching our Center with a strong sense of history, family, and community.
Our mission is to provide a place for local and regional artists of all mediums to exhibit their work and engage the larger community. In addition to regular exhibitions, Gallery 263 is a multi-functional art space, providing opportunities for the public to participate in the creative process through music performances, workshops, film screenings, lectures, artist talks, juried show competitions and yoga.
Eridanos Tattoo and Gallery Eridanos is a custom tattoo shop and contemporary fine art gallery located in the heart of Central Sq. Cambridge, Massachusetts. Our gallery features local and touring tattoo artists, traveling from all over the world. They specialize in every style and aspect of modern tattooing and fine art mediums. The Tattoo and Gallery space (open 6 days a week, Tuesday-Sunday) will be featuring art of varying themes, mediums and artists showcased in a new show every month open to the public. As well as providing educational seminars and workshops that will also be accessible to the public The hope of Eridanos Tattoo and Gallery is to provide an outlet for fine art and tattooing in the Cambridge/Boston area.
Founded in 2009, by the Bodega Crew with a goal of creating more places for punks to loiter, artists to flourish, and more voices to be heard. The idea was to turn dormant commercial spaces into pop up gallery spaces reclaiming urban space for public art projects and progressive exhibitions. We keep it independent/free form and curate cultural artifacts for the neighborhood. We settled into our current location at 132 brookline Ave. Boston MA 02215 a wonderful 3,000 square foot gallery with many possibilities.

With daytime events celebrating emerging ideas, the latest gear and artistic innovation, the creative community then gives back at nighttime events that embrace aspects of all three fields. Featuring exhibits, Q&A with visiting artists and musicians plus a film component, Together contains a multitude of inclusive activities, putting the city and New England at the center of a new festival experience. Museum of Fine Arts is a surface-level tram stop on the MBTA Green Line "E" Branch, located the median of Huntington Avenue in Boston, Massachusetts, between Museum Road and Ruggles Street. The station is named after the adjacent Museum of Fine Arts, although it also provides access to Northeastern University, Wentworth Institute of Technology, and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Museum of Fine Arts station is fully handicapped accessible.HistoryThe modern Green Line "E" Branch opened on February 16, 1941 with the completion of the Huntington Avenue subway from Copley to the Northeastern Incline. (Before then, trams had run on the surface from the Boylston Street portal). Until the 1970s, there were not truly distinct stations on the surface portion of the line; passengers merely waited on street corners. Museum of Fine Arts first appeared on system maps in 1990 as Museum (sometimes Museum/Ruggles), and small asphalt platforms were installed north of Museum Road around that time. Most current system maps show the name as Museum Fine Arts to save space, though the MBTA still uses the full Museum of Fine Arts name on Green Line-only maps and station signage.In a renovation that took place in 2002 and 2003, a new handicapped-accessible station was built between Museum Road and Ruggles Street. Wiring slots for an automatic fare collection system were installed during the upgrade, though fare collection at the station is still on board trains. A signal prioritization system for Northeastern University and all stops further outbound is also in place.

Boston University Central is a surface-level station on the MBTA's Green Line "B" Branch, located the center median of Commonwealth Avenue west of St. Marys Street in Boston, Massachusetts, surrounded by the Boston University campus. It consists of two side platforms, which serve the "B" Branch's two tracks. The station is fully handicapped-accessible, with raised platforms to allow level boarding onto low-floor trams and a high platform on the inbound side to serve high-floor trams.HistoryThe station has the third-highest ridership on the "B" Branch . Because of their high ridership, BU East and BU Central were rebuilt with slightly raised platforms in 2002 to allow level boarding onto the new Type 8 trams. Service was provided to an interim station between the two stops during construction. A wooden high-level platform was also built on the inbound platform to serve older Type 7 high-floor trams. BU Central is one of only five surface stations on the "B" branch that is handicapped-accessible .
