Nestled in the heart of East Harlem, The Poet's Den Theater and Gallery have established a cultural center for the East Harlem community and beyond to gather and participate in arts enjoyment. The founders rescued this once-abandoned building and transformed it into a haven where creative energy abounds and where artists engage in multidisciplinary expressions. The vintage furniture and decor juxtapose a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system to harmonize the theater's old-world-style and charm. This multi-sensory environment is designed to delight audiences with a pleasing and fulfilling entertainment experience. Many theater performances, readings, and poetic expressions have received public acclaim from discerning audiences and media. As well as movies, shorts, documentaries that have also been screened for public and private audiences. The two spaces provide a complete entertainment experience where audiences delight from the live shows or movies offered and then retire to the gallery space for fellowship/networking, exhibit displays and receptions. The gallery offers local, national and international artist opportunities to showcase their work. The Poet's Den is a major institution contributing to the ever-changing landscape of the emerging East Harlem neighborhood.
El Taller Latino Americano (The Latin American Workshop) is a 501(c)(3) community-based non-profit arts and education institution founded in New York City in 1979 to bridge the gap between Latin Americans and North Americans through the language of art, dance and music. El Taller is located at 225 W. 99th Street (between Broadway and Amsterdam at St. Michael's Church) and offers its community a varied menu of Spanish and English language classes, arts programming, music and that seek not only to educate, but to engage and gather diverse groups together culturally and linguistically on the common ground of creativity. Over 500 people each month meet to share ideas, participate in the classes and to find creative inspiration and a refuge in the middle of New York City.
A unique space for viewing and experiencing local art of all forms, styles, and modern movements, Studio 323 offers this conceptual space in an effort to promote creative talents and social awareness in New York City. In addition to these efforts, the studio features prominently the unique fine restorations and interpretative designs of Jonathan Chánduví, a third generation restorer who collaborates with New York’s finest interior designers to revive Old World decorative arts. Chánduví’s works strive to combine today’s conceptual designs with the quality and techniques of the great artists of the past.

This modest project space sitting atop Carnegie Hill in Manhattan was established by Nick Lawrence (founder of DNA, LFL, and Freight+Volume) in spring of 2014 as an antidote to the hyper, market-driven systems currently ruling much of NYC and the art world at large. A place to pause and remember that, at the end of the day, art needs to be viewed, contemplated, reflected upon, experienced - and enjoyed. Arts + Leisure is located at 1571 Lexington between 100th and 101st streets, opposite Church of the Life Changers and Ministries of Manhattan and a community garden. We’re a few blocks south of El Museo del Barrio, and Moustache, El Aquila, El Paso restaurants, as well as the Lexington Social Bar; north of Joy Burger, Mt Sinai Hospital, East Harlem Childrens Center and ABV. Stop in, relax and see the show, and check out our growing library of artist books and magazines. We host twelve projects per year as well as frequent readings, performances and film/video screenings.
MediaNoche is the place where art, technology and community converge. We offer artists working in new media exhibition space and residencies in order to provoke a dialogue that blurs all lines of marginality and alterity. Unique among art and technology groups, MediaNoche is directly linked to the oldest Latino community of New York City, Spanish Harlem, and has showcased a roster of local and international new media artists.

The Chord Club Powered by Billboard is a recording studio and event space located in Manhattan’s Upper East Side. The Chord Club offers a wide variety of music classes for children age 5 months – 17 years old as well as professional recording services and event planning from leaders in the music industry. At our state of the art facility, we will transform children and adults alike into A-list rock stars with the help of experienced musicians, vocal coaches, music producers, and sound engineers.
