As we transition into Healthworks! Kids' Museum, we are infectiously contaminating and inspiring kids and the community to have fun, learn and make great overall health choices! As we continue to operate from our theatre located at 727 N.1st St. on Laclede's Landing until February 26th, 2016, we are consistently adding contagiously contaminated health programs. After February we will move to a new and improved space and museum with lots of fun hands-on health exhibits, as well as an indoor skeleton climber! Little Urban Smiles is a non-profit dental organization that provides preventive and restorative dental care to children in a child friendly environment, regardless of ability to pay. Our services include complete dental exams for children, including: screenings, cleanings, fluoride treatments, and x-rays. The facility, Children’s Dental Theatre, is truly unique; movies are distinctly incorporated into the dental experience. Ninety inch (90”) screens in both theaters play fun children’s movies and educational dental films. Little Urban Smiles provides an enhanced experience and a new and truly better option than clinics, dental buses, or neighborhood health centers; parents can make appointments or walk-in and have their child seen the same day.
